The Job

This role's focus is on daily outbound shipments, carrier booking, transport coordination and smooth deliveries for our customers across Europe. Your mission is to manage our end-to-end logistics between suppliers, warehouses, and customers in a way that ensures delivery deadlines are met, costs are reduced, and all information flows cleanly through the ERP system. The role is a parental leave cover, limited to 1 year, with the option to extend the contract afterwards.
Please note that this role in based in Berlin.

Your Responsibilities

  • Disposition & Transport Management: Parcel, LTL/FTL, across Europe, including carrier/forwarder coordination and slot/appointment scheduling.
  • Close collaboration and alignment with customers, freight forwarders, service providers, and suppliers.
  • Packaging & Shipping Preparation: Selection, marking, labeling, shipping documents.
  • Claims/Damage Management & Returns/RMA: Record cases, clarify root causes, manage credit notes and replacements.
  • Master Data & ERP: Products, suppliers, tariff classification, Incoterms; maintenance and data quality (e.g., weights/dimensions).
  • Continuous Improvement: SOPs, templates, checklists, workflow automation (ERP/Sheets).

What do you bring

  • Several years of experience in disposition/logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Completed vocational training or degree in logistics or supply chain (preferred).
  • Excellent German and English skills; additional EU languages are a plus.
  • Confident with ERP systems (e.g., Odoo or similar) and MS Office/Google Sheets; basic BI understanding helpful.
  • Strong organizational skills with a hands-on mentality and structured working style.
  • Pronounced team spirit and strong communication skills
