When it comes to room-in-room systems (both phone booths and meeting booths), we're the price leader — thanks to standardized production, lean margins, and cutting out middlemen. That means our booths go straight from us to you. An additional benefit is that we are your go to contact for any questions you might have about the product.
Our meeting booth QUATTRO works for two, three, or four people. We don't currently offer a booth with a maximum capacity of 2. Instead, our QUATTRO, at just 1.3m deep our product is built to save space while still feeling spacious. So you get a flexible meeting booth without using up much floor space.
Yes and no. The QUATTRO comes with an Ethernet port. The SOLO doesn't, but it works brilliantly over WiFi and 4G/5G. If you need an Ethernet port in a SOLO, our Sales Team is happy to share tips on adding one yourself.
In numbers: the booths block out 31 dB (QUATTRO) and 27 dB (SOLO). In practice, that means once you're inside, outside noise is dampened enough that it won't distract you — so you can fully focus on your work.
If needed, you could spend your entire workday in one of our booths. That said, most customers use our phone and meeting booths as a complement to their regular workspace — for an important call or meeting where they need some quiet. The phone booth SOLO has one ceiling fan; the meeting booth QUATTRO and office booth DEEPWORK each have four. The air is fully exchanged at least once a minute, so you always have fresh air. All our booths are also well equipped with power outlets for your devices, so longer meetings are no problem either.

The phone booth SOLO, meeting booth QUATTRO, and office booth DEEPWORK are all made in Germany, to the highest quality standards, in state-of-the-art production facilities. The materials we use come from Germany too — meaning shorter transport routes and a smaller environmental footprint.
We offer room-in-room solutions that are affordable and easy to set up wherever you need them. Our phone booth SOLO is for one person, the meeting booth QUATTRO fits up to four. Our office booth DEEPWORK is designed for one to two people and longer work sessions. Every booth comes fully equipped: lighting, ventilation, power outlets, a desk, and of course sound-absorbing double walls.
If your office floor is smooth, you can simply slide a moving blanket under the feet and push the SOLO from one spot to another. Important: always put something under the feet first, so you don't damage them — or your floor — while moving it.If you need to move it over steps or uneven flooring, we recommend disassembling and reassembling the phone booth instead. That takes about 60 minutes and two people can easily manage it.
To set up the phone booth SOLO, all you need is an Allen key and a Torx screwdriver — both are included in your purchase.
Yes! Two people with no assembly experience usually manage it in 40–60 minutes. Our record stands at 6 minutes 47 seconds. To make it even easier, we include assembly instructions.

The phone booth SOLO comes with everything you need for focused work: ventilation, lighting, power outlets, a desk, and of course sound-insulated walls. Optionally, there's the mute-labs Stool SOLO, matched to the height of the desk. Otherwise, any bar stool with a seat height of about 75 cm will do.
Since the meeting booth QUATTRO — just like the SOLO — is freestanding and not fixed to the floor or wall, it can of course be moved. Given its weight, though, we recommend disassembling and reassembling it rather than simply pushing it. Since assembly is fairly complex, it should be handled by the assembly team. The office booth DEEPWORK and meeting booth QUATTRO share the same shell — the only difference is the interior. The QUATTRO has a table in the middle, while the DEEPWORK has a height-adjustable desk built for 1–2 people. Think of the QUATTRO as a mini meeting room, and the DEEPWORK as a private office.

The phone booth SOLO can be assembled by 2 people in about 60 minutes. If you'd rather leave it to us, we offer an assembly service: the assembly team sets up the booth and takes all packaging materials away with them. We always deliver right to where the booth will stand — no annoying hauling up to the 5th floor, our carrier takes care of all that. If you'd like, the assembly team can also set the booth up directly at your chosen spot.
Delivery takes 2–3 weeks for the phone booth SOLO, and 4–6 weeks for the meeting booth QUATTRO and office booth DEEPWORK. We're happy to coordinate specific delivery dates with our carriers wherever possible.
Yes. We know that many organizations — especially public institutions like schools, universities, and government agencies — are only able to pay after delivery. No problem: if you're ordering for a public institution or an established company, we're happy to offer payment on account, due only after delivery. Just mention it with your order, or get in touch with our Sales Team, and we'll set it up for you.
Yes, we offer installment payments in most of our markets. Instead of paying the full amount upfront, you can spread the cost of your booth over monthly installments. Availability and terms vary by country — just let our Sales Team know where you're based, and we'll send you the options for your market.In Germany, the lowest current installment starts at €71 for the SOLO and €215 for the QUATTRO.
By default, payment at mute-labs works via prepayment: you'll receive an order confirmation along with an invoice, and as soon as payment is received, we ship your booths. If prepayment isn't possible for your organization — for example, in the public sector — or you'd prefer to pay in installments, just let us know. Our team will find the right solution for you.
Rent? No — for good reason. In fact, buying works out cheaper than renting in the long run. It sounds surprising, but the reverse logistics for a phone booth are extremely costly. Once a booth has been unpacked and assembled, taking it apart again gets expensive: the individual parts are delicate, need to be packaged separately, and carried by two people. In short, a phone booth simply isn't suited to a rental model. What we do offer is a flexible financing model with monthly installments, with a term you choose yourself. We manufacture 100% in Germany for two reasons. First, it's the only way we can guarantee the quality and craftsmanship we're committed to. Second, having production centrally located means shorter delivery routes and a better carbon footprint.
To protect the environment, we avoid unnecessary plastic wherever we can. The wood we use comes from sustainably managed forests and is certified to FSC, PEFC, and the new ISO 38200:2018 standards.
To do our part for the climate, we launched the "One Booth – One Tree" initiative: we plant a tree for every phone or meeting booth sold. Not in Brazil or Indonesia, but right here in Germany, where we produce our booths. To make sure a tree really gets planted for every single booth, we put on our own rubber boots, grabbed a shovel, and planted them ourselves.
We're confident you'll love our phone booth SOLO. But if you're not 100% satisfied, you can return your booth within 100 days of delivery, and we'll refund the full purchase price of the SOLO. This 100-day test applies exclusively to the SOLO. If your order includes multiple SOLO booths, the offer covers only one (1) booth, and only on your first order. Please note that transport and assembly costs aren't refunded. This return policy doesn't apply to our meeting booth QUATTRO, and it can't be combined with our financing model.
We give a 2-year warranty on all our booths. It covers all repair costs or spare parts needed due to manufacturing defects. You'll find more details on our warranty in our terms and conditions.
