1. If there is not enough space for assembly at the desired location and the SOLO must be moved slightly after assembly: Align the base plate at the desired location anyway and then set it up elsewhere. This saves adjustment work at the end. We recommend a ceiling height of at least 2.35 m so that the ceiling element can be installed and the exhaust air can be reliably extracted during use.
2. When tightening the screws between the walls for the first time, leave a little space and only tighten them once the ceiling element has been assembled. A little movement helps when positioning the ceiling element.
3. Door hangs lower on the right: Check the rings and plastic sleeves: two sleeves per hinge! Do not use the rings to correct a sagging door; either one ring per hinge or no ring at all!
It often helps to raise the left foot of the SOLO. If the SOLO then wobbles slightly, this can be compensated for with the other feet.
Maximum distance between glass door and floor: 14 mm.
4. Door does not close well because the magnet appears weak:
There has never been a magnet missing during production, it is always due to the alignment of the SOLO or the door.
It often helps to raise the front feet of the SOLO .
Sometimes it only affects the upper seal on the ceiling element. If you take it out and the door then closes properly, put it back in with a little tension and cut off the excess rubber seal. If this is not enough, let us know atmute-labs whether the door closes without a seal. Check the rings and plastic sleeves: two sleeves per hinge! The ring can be omitted if the glass door hangs quite high. But either one ring per hinge or no ring at all.
Maximum distance between glass door and floor: 14mm.
5. Light and ventilation are not triggered:
Check the connection to the socket and test the external socket to which the SOLO is connected with another device (e.g. smartphone + charger) .
If nothing is noticeable there: Check the inner socket → if this is working, please check the connections in the ceiling element: To do this, disconnect the SOLO from the power supply, open the ventilation grille and check the connections (fan/light/sensor) to the control element.
If the outer socket works, but nothing in the SOLO : Check the connector plug between the ceiling element and the rear wall.

6. If there are unusual noises from the fan:
Check behind the ventilation grille to see if a loose cable is touching the rotors or something similar (see: here).
7. If the door swings open too fast:
We do not have stoppers for the glass doors. If you open the door 90 degrees and hold it there for a second, it should stay in this position. If this is not the case, you can raise both front feet to prevent the door from swinging open like this.
8. If there are visible gaps between the individual elements:
Switch on the light in the SOLO and look from the outside. If there are gaps between the walls and the ceiling, you have probably forgotten to check the drill holes as described in the manual. If this is not the case, check whether all the walls are the same height and if not, whether this can be adjusted with a little pressure from above.
- If there is a gap between the walls and the base plate: Check that the side panels have been correctly screwed to the metal feet.
