In principle, it is possible to integrate the phone booth SOLO into a drywall construction. However, there are several important factors that need to be taken into account.

    1. Ensure Proper Air Circulation

The phone booth SOLO requires sufficient air exchange to ensure that the lighting, ventilation, and indoor climate function properly.

    Important:

    • The ventilation grilles in the ceiling element must not be completely enclosed.
    • The ventilation openings in the floor must continue to draw in fresh air.
    • There must be sufficient airflow above and below the booth.

The most important factors are the CO₂ concentration of the surrounding air and how frequently the air in the room is exchanged. Unfortunately, we cannot assess these conditions in advance.

Ideally, the phone booth SOLO should continue to have direct access to the room's ambient air and should not be completely enclosed by drywall elements.

    2. Maintain Access to Technical Components

For maintenance or repair work, the ceiling element of the booth must remain accessible.

The control unit for the lighting and ventilation is located behind the ventilation grille in the ceiling element and can only be accessed from above.

Please design your drywall construction so that the ceiling element remains accessible from the outside even after installation.

If drywall elements need to be removed for service or warranty work, we unfortunately cannot cover any resulting costs.

    3. Allow Sufficient Space for Installation

Installing the phone booth SOLO requires at least 50 cm (20 inches) of free space around the booth.

Although the booth can still be moved slightly after installation, sufficient working space must be available during assembly.

Please also note that it is generally not possible to install the booths afterwards into a drywall construction that has already been completely closed. The ceiling element, side panels, and assembly areas must remain accessible during installation.

You're welcome to share your plans or drawings with us in advance. Together, we can review what is technically feasible and advise you on important considerations during the planning process.

    4. Installation Time

Installation of the phone booth SOLO typically takes our assembly teams around 30 minutes.

If the booth is being assembled for the first time or if the installation situation is more complex, the process may take longer.

    Warranty and Custom Construction Projects

As we are unable to technically assess individual drywall projects in advance, we unfortunately cannot provide a warranty for these types of installation situations.
